Beijing Capital International Airport, opened on March 2, 1958, was the busiest in the country and the second busiest in the world after Atlanta Airport until the opening of the new Daxing Airport. It operates domestic flights and numerous major international destinations on all continents.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminal 1 (domestic flights), Terminal 2 (domestic and international flights) and Terminal 3 (international flights). Open 24 hours a day. Terminals 1 and 2 are connected by a covered walkway, while a regular bus service connects the three buildings every 10-15 minutes.

Annual passenger traffic: 12.7 million passengers went through it in 2022.

The airport is located 25 km (16 miles) northeast of Beijing's financial centre, in an exclave of Chaoyang District.

Garage 1 - South of Terminal 1, ideal for short stays.
Garage 2 - Six-level facility located opposite Terminal 2.
Garage 3 - Located south of Terminal 3. With an Airport Express station on level 2 and access to the Departures and Arrivals levels.
Garage 5 - Adjacent to car park 1, primarily for short stays.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Inform your airline of your particular needs at least 48 hours in advance. There are elevators, handrails, Braille signage, adapted toilets, counters, telephones, accessible seating and drinking fountains, and reserved parking spaces.
