International travel to China is not allowed. This does not apply to nationals, residents. You need to meet the requirements to ensure entry is allowed.
There are exemptions at border closure for those with valid visas. Tourist trips are not allowed. The Chinese authorities have implemented additional measures and restrictions regarding visa applications and admission to the country. We recommend that you contact your local embassy for information on specific requirements.
All travelers must undergo a 14-day quarantine at a government-designated location. Travelers are subject to follow-up testing during this period. If you are traveling from the point of entry into China to another city or region, an additional quarantine period of up to 14 days may be required if either location is considered high risk.
Upon departure, proof of negative IgM and PCR antibody tests must be presented, completed by the same provider and taken within the previous 48 hours. Chinese citizens need to upload the test results using the WeChat app 'Fang Yi Jian Kang Ma Guo Ji Ban' and get a green QR code with an 'HS' mark. Foreign passengers must send the test results to a Chinese consulate.
Travelers are subject to health checks upon arrival.
A 'health declaration form' must be completed within 24 hours before entering and leaving China.
