Spending the night at the airport
Ankara airport is always very busy, so it is frequent to see many passengers waiting for their flight departure, even at night and early in the morning. It is recommended to have headphones or earplugs to avoid the noise.
Where to rest: There are not many comfortable spots, so it is best to have a sleeping bag or blankets in case you have to sleep on the floor. On the other hand, there are some VIP lounges inside the terminal that open 24 hours a day, although the maximum stay is usually 4 hours. Finally, there are some hotels nearby.
Baggage: A left-luggage service operates 24 hours a day, so you can forget about your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: Several options remain open throughout the night.
Restrooms: Showers available inside some of the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Access only by previous payment.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, secure luggage wrapping, mosques, baby changing facilities.
