Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Denpasar airport is open 24 hours a day, so you can stay overnight if you have an early morning flight or if your flight has been delayed. As anywhere else, it's important to take care of your belongings and be aware of your surroundings. Bali can be very humid and hot, so dress lightly and comfortably. You may also want to bring a light jacket or coat, as the temperature at the airport can be cool due to air conditioning.
Where to rest: You'll find plenty of seats to lie down, especially in the food court of the International Terminal. There are also some more comfortable VIP lounges if you have a bigger budget, some of which are open 24 hours a day. Between the terminals, on the other hand, is a hotel.
Baggage: There are no left-luggage facilities, so you'll need to stay with your bags until you can check in.
Eating and drinking: Options open throughout the night in both terminals, where you can find food and drinks. Note that prices may be a little higher than outside the airport.
Restrooms: Showers available in the VIP lounges only.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited. You can also bring along personal entertainment, such as a book, tablet or headphones, to pass the time.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange bureaux, commercial stores, baby changing facilities, prayer rooms.
The Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai Airport is located between the two terminals, while other accommodations have reservation desks inside the terminals.
