Las Américas - Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport, opened on November 10, 1959, is one of the main airports in the Dominican Republic and one of the busiest in the Caribbean. It operates with international flights inside the American Continent and a few European countries.

The airport is located in Punta Caucedo, 30 km (18 miles) southeast from Santo Domingo.

Uber is available at Las Américas Airport, although they do not have an exclusive area like taxis. They usually pick up passengers at the parking lots, but it is still recommended to coordinate the meeting point with the driver.Taxi
