Monterrey airport (MTY)

General Mariano Escobedo International Airport or Monterrey International Airport, opened on November 25, 1970, is one of the most important in Mexico and is considered one of the most modern in North America. It operates domestic flights and several international destinations, mainly in the United States, Central America and the Caribbean.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals A (divided into North Hall for domestic flights and South Hall for international flights), B (used by Aeromexico Connect and SkyTeam members) and C (low-cost flights). Open 24 hours a day. A free shuttle service connects the terminals and parking lots every 10 minutes from 5:00 am to 0:00 am.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

There are lifts, escalators, ramps, bannings, handrails, adapted restrooms, adequate signage, tactile strips for blind people and special places in the parking lots. Most services have no additional cost, but aeronautical regulations limit the number of people with reduced mobility that can travel on an aircraft depending on its size and the service requested, so passengers in need of special assistance are advised to inform their airline of their needs at least 48 hours before traveling.
