Muscat airport (MCT)

Muscat International Airport, also known as Seeb International Airport and opened on December 23, 1973, is the busiest in Oman. It operates with international flights in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa's Arab countries.

Public and private transportation

Bus - There are services from Mwasalat (Tel +968 2412 1555) to Ruwi Station (35 minutes), stopping at Al Azaiba, Al Ghubra, Al Khuwair, Al Sarooj and Al Wataiyah, from 3:30 am to 5:00 pm, and to Al Mabelah, with stops at Burj Sahwa, Al Mawalih and Al Hail, from 4:00 am to 4:15 pm.

Taxi - Vehicles available to all destinations in Muscat and outside the city, including Barka, Al Musana, Nakhal, Sohar, Samail and Izki. Cabs can be booked and pre-paid at the counter located outside the Arrivals area (Tel +968 2412 1555). Travel time to downtown Muscat is approximately 25 minutes. It is advised to agree on a fare with the driver before departing.

Parking services at Muscat airport (MCT)

Car parks (P1, P2, P3) are found a short walk away from the terminal building. Payment can be made at automated machines situated at the exit from each lot and attendants are available 24 hours a day to offer assistance.
