Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Lagos Airport has limited facilities, so if you have an early morning flight and need to spend the night on-site, it’s best to have a backup plan.
Where to rest: The domestic terminal is quieter at night, but there are no comfortable seating options in the airport, and the area can be quite warm. Various VIP lounges in both terminals offer different services, with some open around the clock. For better rest, there are several hotels near the airport.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage facilities, so you will need to keep your belongings with you until you can check in.
Eating and drinking: Dining options inside the terminals close at night.
Restrooms: Showers only in the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
Other services available around the clock: Baby changing facilities.
