Murtala Muhammed International Airport, opened in 1947, is the busiest in Nigeria, serving most of the country. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America. At present, it is one of the largest and most modern in the continent.

Taxi - Official cabs are painted yellow and ranks are located outside the Arrivals and Departures areas. The journey to the city centre takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Agree on a fare with the driver before setting off.
There is a multi-storey car park for short stays, connected to the Domestic Terminal through a corridor.
Facilities are basic, therefore it is advised to inform your airline about any special needs before travelling.
