Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Larnaca airport is the main international gateway to the island, so it's often busy during the night. Taking a book, electronic device or headphones with you can help pass the time while you wait. Before you decide to stay on the premises, make sure it's safe to do so. In general, airports have 24-hour security, but it is always good to exercise caution and keep an eye on your belongings.
Where to rest: In the public area, there are some comfortable benches without armrests. You can also use the VIP lounges, one of which is open 24 hours a day. If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can also consider booking a room in a nearby hotel. Many hotels offer free shuttle services to and from the airport for guests.
Baggage: There is a left-luggage facility on level 2, so you can leave your bags behind until you check-in.
Eating and drinking: There are a couple of options that remain open throughout the night.
Restrooms: Showers only in the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities, games areas.
