There are 4 classifications of countries to enter Cyprus and are identified by colors. VIEW COUNTRY AND COLOR CLASSIFICATION

Green: no restrictions will apply for passengers arriving from these countries

Orange: must present a negative laboratory analysis of the pcr test within 72 hours prior to departure. Note that Cypriot citizens, legal residents of the Republic and persons entitled to enter the Republic under the Vienna Convention, can only choose to undergo the molecular examination on arrival in Cyprus (the expenses will be borne by them). In this case, they must remain in isolation, until the test result is issued.

Red (red): in this category, a double laboratory test is required; that is, a negative laboratory PCR test 72 hours before departure and another laboratory PCR test on arrival in Cyprus. The expenses with the exam will be borne by them and, additionally, these people must remain isolated until the result of the test is issued. Please note that Cypriot citizens, legal residents of the Republic and persons entitled to enter the Republic under the Vienna Convention can only choose to carry out laboratory tests on arrival in Cyprus (the expenses will be borne by them). In this case, they must remain in mandatory isolation for 72 hours from the arrival and after the end of the 72 hours they must undergo another PCR test, at their own expense. Gray: Countries not listed above (in the green, orange and red categories) are considered in the Gray category (special permission). For Category Gray countries, entry into the Republic of Cyprus is only permitted for the following categories of passengers:

1 - Cypriot citizens and relatives (foreign spouses and minor children)
2 - European citizens, citizens of countries in the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and Switzerland,
3 - People residing legally in the Republic,
4 - Persons entitled to enter the Republic under the Vienna Convention,
5 - Citizens of third countries authorized to enter the Republic of Cyprus by special authorization from the Republic.

Passengers coming from the gray category must undergo a PCR laboratory test up to 72 hours before departure and have a certificate showing a negative PCR result. Excluding category 2 above, passengers may be subjected to a laboratory test upon arrival in the Republic of Cyprus on their own. Passengers arriving in the Republic of Cyprus from countries in the Gray Category (Special Permission) will remain in mandatory self-exclusion or mandatory quarantine for a period of 14 days or, alternatively, in mandatory self-exclusion or mandatory quarantine for a period of 10 days, provided that undergo another covid-19 test (at their own expense) on the 10th and the result is negative. The airport is located 8 km (5 miles) to the south of the city of Larnaca.

Public and private transportation

Bus - Cyprus Public Transport (Tel +357 2222 1416) operates several services from the airport, with a fare of €1.50. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 1 hour. Line 407 - Larnaca central station, Meneou, Kiti, Mazotos, Pentaschinos, Zygi, Vasiliko, Mari, Nautical Base; 425 - Dekeleia, Larnaca Station, Makenzy; 429 - Larnaca Central Station, Faro, Tekke; 430 - Larnaca, Kiti, Pervolia; 431 - Larnaca, Meneou, Dromolaxia; 432 - Larnaca, Dromoloxia, Kiti, Tersefanou; 446 - Larnaca, Makenzy, Dromoloxia, Tersefanou, Kiti, Pervolia; 456 - Vasiliko, Mari, Zygi, Pentaschinos, Mazotos, Kiti, Meneou, Larnaca.
Kapnos Airport Shuttle (Tel +357 2400 8718) provides daily transport from Larnaca airport to Nicosia (€8.00; 40-minute journey) and Paphos airport (€15.00; 90 min.)
Limassol Airport Express (Tel +357 9777 9090) connects the enclosure with Limassol in around 50 min., with a fare of €9.00.
Timetables and schedules

Taxi - Cabs are available around the clock outside the Arrivals Hall, on level 0. Fares to downtown Larnaca are around €15.00-20.00 and travel time is about 15 minutes.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up - In front of the terminal building, free and permitted only for 1 minute.
Short Stay - Uncovered, a few minutes away from the main building. Inside this sector, there are also economic spaces for long stays.
Long Stay - Covered parking, minutes away from the terminal.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Inform your airline or travel agency about your needs at the moment of booking or 48 hours in advance. Passengers requiring special assistance should announce their arrival by pressing an assistance button located at the designated arrival points. There are reserved parking spaces, accessible counters, adapted toilets and elevators.
