Travelers who can present a valid certificate of complete vaccination against COVID-19, issued in specific countries, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from the pre-departure test requirement. Vaccinated travelers are subject to testing upon arrival. These exemptions apply from the date of complete vaccination or 14 days after the administration of a single dose vaccine. Vaccination exemptions will only apply if the full dose and certificate were issued within the UK, Europe, the US, and other specific countries. The authenticity of the certificate will be verified by border control officials in the country of departure. Vaccine certificates issued in countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area are only accepted in digital format through the EU Digital Certificate. Citizens who can present a valid certificate issued in any country, with at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, and who arrive without a valid negative test result, may travel but must undergo the COVID-19 test upon arrival and must -isolate until a negative test result is confirmed.
