Which are the Vip lounges at Dulles airport - Washington D.C. (IAD) and how to access:

Washington Dulles International Airport features an extensive network of lounges located in its Main Terminal and throughout the different concourses. These lounges offer spaces for rest, dining and connectivity for eligible passengers based on membership, travel class or credit card.

Main Terminal

Capital One Lounge

A modern space designed for short but high-quality stays, with a focus on local cuisine and specialty coffee.

Location: Immediately after TSA PreCheck security, near the Z gates.

Hours: 5:30 am - 9:00 pm.

Services: Grab & Go food, full bar, coffee bar, luggage room, showers, high-speed Wi-Fi, parents’ room.

Access: Capital One Venture X cardholders (unlimited) and Venture/Spark Miles (2 annual passes). Other passengers may enter by paying a walk-in fee (subject to availability).

USO Center

Exclusive, complimentary space dedicated to the well-being of military personnel and their families.

Location: Arrivals Level (pre-security), in front of baggage claim 12.

Hours: 6:00 am - 10:00 pm.

Access: Active duty military, Reserve and National Guard members and their dependents.

Concourse A

Air France - KLM Lounge

Location: Opposite gate A22.

Hours: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm (Priority Pass access may be restricted during Air France departure times, generally in the afternoon).

Services: Hot and cold buffet, self-service bar, Wi-Fi, international press.

Access: Air France/KLM and SkyTeam Business/La Première passengers, SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass members (subject to capacity).

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club

Formerly known as the Etihad lounge, this space has been renovated under the Chase Sapphire brand.

Location: Near gate A14.

Hours: 6:00 am - 10:00 pm.

Services: À la carte menu, craft cocktails, relaxation areas, family room, prayer room.

Access: Chase Sapphire Reserve and Ritz-Carlton Card cardholders, and Priority Pass members (limited to one visit per calendar year for standard PP members not issued by Chase).

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse

Location: Opposite gate A32.

Hours: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Services: À la carte dining, full bar, showers, luggage storage.

Access: Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers, Flying Club Gold members, SkyTeam Elite Plus. American Express Platinum and Capital One Venture X cardholders (during specific hours).

Concourse B

British Airways Galleries Lounge

Location: AeroTrain station level, near the B50 gates.

Hours: 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

Services: Buffet, self-service bar, business center, showers.

Access: British Airways First/Business passengers and oneworld, oneworld Emerald/Sapphire members.

Lufthansa Business & Senator Lounge

Offers direct access to Lufthansa boarding gates.

Location: Near gates B49-B51.

Hours: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

Services: German and international buffet, selection of beers and wines, Wi-Fi.

Access: Star Alliance Business/First passengers, Star Alliance Gold members. Priority Pass cardholders (access often restricted between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm).

Turkish Airlines Lounge

Location: Near gate B43.

Hours: 7:30 am - 11:00 pm.

Services: Turkish and international buffet, bar, showers, prayer room, rest area.

Access: Star Alliance Business passengers, Star Alliance Gold members. Priority Pass, LoungeKey and Diners Club cardholders.

Concourses C & D

United Polaris Lounge

United’s most exclusive lounge at Dulles, designed for long-haul international travel.

Location: Concourse C, near gate C17.

Hours: 5:30 am - 10:00 pm.

Services: À la carte restaurant (“The Dining Room”), premium buffet, spa-style showers, private rest suites (daybeds).

Access: Exclusively for passengers traveling in United Polaris business class or in long-haul business/first class on Star Alliance airlines. United Club memberships and Star Alliance Gold status are not accepted for entry when traveling in economy.

United Club

Spaces to work and relax before your flight.

Locations:

  • Concourse C: Near gate C7.
  • Concourse C: Near gate C17.
  • Concourse D: Near gate D8.

Hours: Generally from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm.

Access: United Club members, United Polaris passengers (domestic/international flights), Star Alliance Gold members, and one-time pass holders.

Washington Dulles International Airport offers a full range of services to meet passengers’ financial, communication, and wellness needs. Throughout the terminal and concourses you will find charging stations for electronic devices (USB ports and power outlets) built into the seats and in dedicated areas.

Wi-Fi Connection: Internet access is free and unlimited in all public areas. You should connect to the "FlyDulles" network.

Financial Services:
There are ATMs from Capital One Bank and other banking networks located in the Main Terminal and all concourses. Currency exchange offices (Currency Exchange International) are located in the Main Terminal (Departures and Arrivals) and in Concourses A, C, and D. Hours vary, but they generally operate between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, in line with international flight schedules.

Dining

The dining offer is extensive, with full-service restaurants, bars, cafés and fast-food chains. You will find options in every concourse.

Hours: Most venues open around 5:00 am and close between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm. It is important to note that there are no 24-hour restaurants. Overnight, the only options available are vending machines and a few “News & Gifts” convenience shops that may have extended, but not continuous, hours.

Shopping

The airport features a wide variety of shops, including bookstores, electronics stores, fashion, travel accessories and local souvenirs.

Duty Free: Duty-free shops (Duty Free Americas) are available for international passengers in Concourses A, B, C and D.

Baggage

Luggage carts: Available for rent at the passenger drop-off areas (curbside), in the check-in area and in the baggage claim hall.

Lost and Found: The airport’s Lost and Found office manages items left behind in public areas, on the AeroTrain and on shuttle buses. If you left something on the aircraft, you must contact your airline directly.

  • Location: Main Terminal, Arrivals Level, behind baggage carousel no. 2.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Closed on weekends and holidays.
  • Process: It is recommended to start the report online.

Other Services

Children’s area: “NASA Kids' FunWay” is an interactive play area with an aviation and space theme, located in Concourse B (near gate B70).

Nursing rooms: Private rooms for mothers, equipped with comfortable seating and power outlets. Located in the Main Terminal (near baggage claim 2, 6, 11 and 14) and in Concourses A, B, C and D.

Pet relief: Pet Relief Areas for service animals and pets.
Indoor (post-security): Concourse A (gate A32), Concourse B (gate B1), Concourse C (gate C1), Concourse D (gate D1).
Outdoor (pre-security): At both ends of the Main Terminal, departures level.

Chapel: An interfaith space for prayer and meditation located in Concourse A (opposite gate A32).

Relax and Spa: Spa and massage services (Be Relax) available in Concourses A and B.
