Coronavirus and FAQs at (HKG) airport

Coronavirus Answers and Frequently Asked Questions for Passengers at Hong Kong airport (HKG)

 CORONAVIRUS

Worldwide situation. General considerations

Due to the advancement of vaccination worldwide, documentation and testing restrictions have been eliminated in many countries. In fact, in some countries, by presenting the complete vaccination certificate against Coronavirus, RT-PCR or antigen test results are no longer required, nor is a health affidavit form.

However, we insist once again, that in the situation of constant changes, it is always important to ask and arrange details with the airline and, if necessary, with the airport as well as, in the case of international flights, with the embassy or consulate near the final destination, and also with the countries involved for connecting flights, if any.

To facilitate access to COVID-19 test for travelling purposes, at Hong Kong airport there are two non-restricted area locations.

It is recommended to book an appointment at the following LINK at least 4 hours before your boarding time. The RT-PCR test has a cost of HK$499.00, while the RT-LAMP test costs HK$399.00.

Raffles Medical Group (Tel +852 2261 2626) conducts PCR tests at the airport medical centre, located on level 6 of Terminal 1, from 7:00 am to 0:00 am. The fee is HK$388.00 and results are available in 24 hours for collections before noon.
