Hong Kong Airport offers one of the world’s most comprehensive and award-winning selections of lounges, strategically distributed throughout Terminal 1 and its boarding areas to provide comfort for both business and leisure travellers.

American Express The Centurion Lounge

Located on Level 7, next to Gate 60. Open from 6:00 am to 0:00 am. Features local and international gourmet cuisine, a premium cocktail bar, showers, high-speed workstations and relaxation areas. Access is reserved for holders of American Express Centurion and Platinum cards.

Cathay Pacific Lounges

The home carrier operates several flagship lounges (availability should be checked according to Cathay membership status or travel class):

• The Wing (First & Business): After immigration departure control (south area), Level 7. The First Class section reopened in April 2026 following a complete refurbishment incorporating six areas: Atrium, Pantry, Dining Room, Retreat (with massages), Alcove and Bureau (enclosed workspace). The Business Class area remains temporarily closed until further notice. Open from 5:30 am until the last flight.
• The Pier (First & Business): Located near Gate 65. Includes a noodle bar, tea house and relaxation areas. Open from 5:30 am to 0:30 am.
• The Deck: Located near Gate 6. Notable for its terrace overlooking the apron. Open from 5:30 am to 0:30 am.
• The Bridge: Near Gate 35, Level 6. Open from 5:30 am until the last flight. Reopened in May 2025 following a full renovation. Features a family zone, meeting room and exclusive Diamond Suite for Diamond members.

Access: Cathay Pacific and Oneworld First or Business Class passengers, as well as Cathay Diamond, Gold or Silver members and equivalent Oneworld Sapphire/Emerald members.

Plaza Premium Lounge

There are multiple locations to ensure full coverage:

• Level 6 (near Gate 1): Open 24 hours.
• Level 6 (near Gate 35): Open 24 hours.
• Level 7 (near Gate 60): Open from 6:00 am to 1:00 am.

Facilities include showers, refreshments, Wi-Fi and rest areas. Maximum stay: 2 hours. Access available through Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass or advance booking with payment at the door (approximate rates from USD 75).

Kyra Lounge

Located on Level 6 near Gate 23, and on Level 7 near Gate 40. Open from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm. Features buffet service, bar and comfortable waiting areas. Accessible to Priority Pass and LoungeKey members.

Emirates Lounge

Located near Gate 40. Opening hours are adjusted according to the airline’s departures (typically from the afternoon until midnight). Offers an international cuisine buffet and showers. Access for Emirates First or Business Class passengers and Skywards Platinum or Gold members.

Hong Kong Airlines Club Autus

Located on Level 7 of the Midfield Concourse (Gate 212). Open from 6:30 am to 2:00 am. Offers a wide gastronomic selection and panoramic views. Maximum stay: 4 hours. Access for the airline’s Business Class passengers and Fortune Wings or DragonPass members.

Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge

Located near Gate 5. Open from 6:00 am to 0:00 am. Offers signature Singaporean hot dishes, showers and Wi-Fi. Access for premium-class passengers of Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance airlines, as well as Star Alliance Gold members.

The Qantas Hong Kong Lounge

Located near Gate 5, Level 7. Open from 7:30 am until 11:00 pm. Well known for its buffet and cocktails. Access for Qantas, Emirates or Oneworld partner First or Business Class passengers, as well as travellers with high frequent-flyer status (Gold/Platinum).

United Club

Located on Level 7, near Gate 61. Following a refurbishment period, it is currently operational offering snacks, a full bar and showers. Access for United Polaris passengers, United Club members and Star Alliance Gold members.

 Facilities and other services

The airport offers world-class infrastructure with services designed for maximum passenger convenience, ensuring connectivity and assistance 24 hours a day.

Financial Services and Connectivity

• Cash machines: Located throughout all terminal levels, mainly operated by HSBC and Bank of China.
• Currency exchange: Global Exchange and Travelex counters are available in arrivals and departures areas, with 24-hour service at selected locations.
• Wi-Fi and Technology: The airport provides free and unlimited Wi-Fi access ("#HKAirport Free WiFi"). There are also charging stations for mobile devices, multimedia kiosks and local mobile phone services on Level 5.
• Post office: Located in the Level 7 check-in area, available for domestic and international mail services.

Dining

The dining offer is extremely varied, ranging from gourmet cuisine to international fast food. For passengers spending the night or travelling on early morning flights, there are 24-hour options such as McDonald's (Levels 6 and 8), Bari-Uma, Hung Fook Tong, Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go and convenience shops such as 7-Eleven.

Shopping

Travellers have access to numerous commercial establishments including exclusive duty-free shops, convenience stores, supermarkets and specialised outlets for designer fashion, accessories, cosmetics, perfumes, jewellery, electronics, toys, books, liquor and tobacco.

Baggage

• Luggage storage: Located on Level 5 of the Arrivals Hall and open from 5:30 am to 1:30 am. Ideal for passengers on long layovers wishing to visit the city without luggage.
• Baggage wrapping: Available on Level 7 (departures), near the check-in islands, from 5:00 am to midnight.
• Lost property: The office is located on Level 5 (public area) and operates from 7:00 am to 11:59 pm (Tel: +852 2182 2018).

Health and Wellness

• Medical centre: Located on Level 6, providing emergency care and general consultations.
• Showers: Free shower facilities are available 24 hours a day on Level 5 (Arrivals), near Gates 12 and 43. Premium shower services are also available in Plaza Premium lounges.
• Massages: Reflexology and massage services are available at various points throughout the boarding area.

Other Services

The airport also features multi-faith prayer rooms, children's play areas, designated smoking areas within the restricted zone, free drinking water fountains and personalised concierge services.

For the corporate sector, a business centre is available within the check-in area. In addition, spacious meeting rooms and conference centres are available at the AsiaWorld-Expo complex and the Airport World Trade Centre, both located adjacent to the airport grounds.
