The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau and Wi-Fi access free of charge. The Goldair Handling Lounge is situated on the first floor and opens from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm the rest of the days; it provides computers, refreshments, drinks, TV, air conditioning, telephones, fax, Wi-Fi (access with Priority Pass, Lounge Club, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €28.00).
Food and Drinks- Inside the terminal there are bars, coffee shop, restaurant and icecream store.
Shopping- Duty-free articles in the Departures area, gifts, cosmetics, tobacco and newsagents.
Baggage- 24-hour left luggage service inside the car park (Tel +30 281 039 7349). Secure wrapping in the Departures Hall. Enquiries about missing items should be directed to the information desk.

Bus - There are services from KTEL (Tel +30 281 024 6530) to the city's bus station, with a trip of around 20 minutes and a fare of €1.80. They run every 15 min. from Monday to Saturday and less frequently on Sundays. The stop is found a few minutes away from the terminal. In Heraklion you can board buses to different destinations inside the island, such as Rethimnon, Kavros, Georgioupolis and Chania.
Taxi - Cabs (grey-colored) are available around the clock in front of the Arrivals level. Journey time to the city centre is about 15 minutes and the fare is around €17.00. Prices are higher between 0:00 am and 6:00 am. Bookings: Tel +30 281 021 0102.
