Covid-19: Regulations for travel to Greece

International travel to Greece is allowed. You need to meet the requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Vaccinations and travel rules for vaccinated people

Travelers presenting a valid international certificate for full COVID-19 vaccination, using an approved vaccine, are exempt from pre-departure testing requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to departure. Vaccinated travelers are still subject to random health checks and rapid antigen tests upon arrival. You can find a list of approved vaccines at

EU COVID digital certificate

Test is done upon arrival

Arrivals are subject to PCR or rapid antigen testing on arrival. If a positive result is received, travelers must undergo a 10-day quarantine in a quarantine hotel, run by the government. Vaccinated travelers who test positive on arrival must self-isolate for 7 days. All travelers who go into quarantine or self-isolation will be screened before being released.

Additional documents required

A "passenger locator form" must be submitted within 24 hours of departure. The QR code generated by this form must be presented on arrival.
