Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Spending the night at the airport
Budapest airport has numerous commercial stores and eateries. However, it is not very comfortable for resting, in addition to being rather noisy. Therefore, it is recommended to have earplugs or headphones.
Where to rest: Although there are many seats for passenger use inside the terminals, these are not very comfortable for sleeping. Generally, the landside area is better, particularly the SkyCourt building, where you can find padded benches. If you have a bigger budget or an adequate membership, you can enter one of the VIP lounges for more comfort. The only problem is that they close at night. There are several accommodations in the vicinity of the enclosure, and some of them even operate shuttle services.
Baggage: The airport left luggage service only operates from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Eating and drinking: Most stores close at night, but you can find some options open 24 hours a day in the SkyCourt building, including duty-free shops.
Wi-Fi: Free during 2 hours.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, baby changing facilities.
