EU COVID digital certificate

EU residents can provide their EU Digital Certificate in paper or digital format as proof of vaccination, negative test result or prior retrieval. Health documents provided in this way will not require additional verification on arrival. Full details on the EU digital certificate, including how EU residents can access their certificate, can be found at https://ec.europa.eu/info/live-work-travel-eu / coronavirus-response / safe-covid-19 -european- vaccines / eu-digital-covid-certificate_en

It is mandatory to submit medical certificate / proof

Upon arrival, proof of a negative PCR test must be presented, taken within the previous 72 hours. Instead, travelers can provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. This will require proof of a positive test result, taken at least 14 days prior to arrival and no more than 180 days. Test results must be in Hungarian or English and must be issued in a country of the European Union, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, or the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A full list of countries and exemptions in Hungarian can be found at https://net.jogtar.hu/jogszabaly?docid=a2100060.korTravelers without medical documentation may not be allowed entry or will be asked to self-quarantine for 10 days. The quarantine period may be shortened if 2 PCR tests are confirmed negative once in Hungary, 48 hours apart and within the first 5 days.
