EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, opened on May 8, 1946, is one of the most important in the country and serves the border area of Switzerland, France and Germany. It operates with international destinations throughout Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East.

Location

The airport is located 8 km (5 miles) to the northwest of Basel, 25 km (15.5 miles) southeast from Mulhouse and 70 km (45 miles) southwest from Freiburg.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (5:15 am to 11:00 pm), postal and copying services, plugs for electric devices and free Wi-Fi access for 24 hours. The business center located inside the enclosure has ten conference rooms. The EuroAirport Skyview Lounge is located on the Departures level and opens Mondays through Fridays between 5:00 am and 8:45 pm, Saturdays from 5:00 am to 7:30 pm and Sundays from 5:00 am to 8:30 pm; it provides complimentary snacks and drinks, TV, newspapers and magazines, showers, telephones, fax, Wi-Fi, computers, air conditioning, conference facilities, smoking area (access with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door).

Food and Drinks- There are two restaurants and bars on level 5, in addition to coffee shops and other options on levels 2, 3 and 4.
Shopping- Duty-free shops in the Departures area (levels 3 and 4) and in the Arrivals Hall of level 2. There are also stores selling press, books, tobacco, sweets.
Baggage- Luggage trolleys free of charge. The lost and found office is handled by the airport's information booth and is available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Tel +33 389 903 111 / +41 613 253 111).

Parking services at Basel airport (BSL)

French sector:
Short stays - F1 is covered and located beneath the terminal; F2 is outdoor and adjacent to the previous one; F3 is an open air lot 200 meters away from the terminal.
Long stays - F4 is covered and situated 300 meters away; F5 is found 300 meters away from the terminal and F6 500 meters away, both uncovered.

Swiss sector:
Short stays - S1 is covered and situated under the terminal; S2 is outdoor and next to S1.
Long stays - Uncovered car parks. S3 is located 600 meters away from the terminal; S4 700 meters away; S12 300 meters away; S13 600 meters away.
