Spending the night at EuroAirport is a viable option for travellers with very early flights, as the terminal remains open 24 hours a day. However, it is a moderately sized airport where overnight comfort is limited and services are significantly reduced after the last flight.

Rest Areas

The terminal is divided into the French and Swiss sectors, with the latter generally preferred by travellers for overnight stays. Level 5 of the Swiss sector is usually the quietest area; there you may find some benches without armrests that make it easier to lie down. In the departure areas on the lower levels, most seats are metal and have physical dividers, meaning you will need to rest while seated or on the floor. It is recommended to bring a sleeping bag, eye mask and earplugs, as lights and public announcements remain active throughout the night.

Dining: All restaurants, cafés and retail outlets close between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am. During this period, only vending machines with snacks and drinks are available in the public areas of both sectors.

Showers: There are no showers in the public areas of the airport. This service is exclusive to the Skyview Lounge, which is closed overnight.

Wi-Fi: The internet connection is free, unlimited and remains stable during the early hours of the morning.

Luggage: For strict security reasons, EuroAirport does not provide storage facilities or lockers. This means you must keep your belongings with you at all times while resting.

Security and Requirements

Although the airport is safe, security staff usually make night rounds and may ask to see your passport and boarding pass or flight confirmation to allow you to remain in the terminal. Solo travellers are advised to stay near other groups of passengers in well-lit areas.

For those seeking uninterrupted rest, there are several hotels nearby (on the French side, mainly in Saint-Louis) that offer shuttle services. If you choose this option, be sure to check the schedule of the last transfer service, as many stop operating at midnight.

On Level 2 (Arrivals), you will find information desks with detailed information and direct booking telephone numbers.
