If you have an early-morning flight or a late arrival, Bologna Airport offers the possibility of spending the night inside its facilities. The terminal is open 24 hours a day, is relatively small —which makes it easy to navigate— and is generally considered safe and quiet.

Where to Rest

• Seats: You will find some comfortable benches on the first floor. However, most seats in the terminal are metal and have armrests, which makes lying down difficult. Consider bringing a mat or blanket for added comfort if you plan to sleep on the floor.
• Outdoor Areas: Just outside the terminal entrance, there are wooden benches that may provide a resting option, although they are exposed to weather conditions.
• VIP Lounge (Prima Vista Lounge): While it offers a comfortable environment, bear in mind that the lounge closes at night (usually at 9:00 pm), so it is not an option for overnight stays.
• Nearby Hotels: The most recommended option for proper rest is to book a room in one of the hotels near the airport, many of which offer shuttle services.

Luggage

At present, the airport does not offer a left-luggage or baggage storage service for keeping bags overnight. You must keep your luggage with you at all times.

Food and Drink

During the night, dining options are limited. Most food and beverage outlets close, leaving only vending machines with snacks and drinks available.

The airport offers free and unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, allowing you to stay connected during your overnight stay.
