Spending the night at the airport
Although Varadero airport is small, it is possible to spend the night inside the enclosure, and thus avoid extra expenses in transfers and accommodation. The air conditioning is strong, so you should bring something warm.
Where to rest: There are not many comfortable nooks. It would be best to have a sleeping bag or blankets in case you have to lay on the floor. In the international area, you can find a couple of VIP lounges that are open around the clock. You can also enquire with some of the hotels in the city, as you can arrange your transfer directly with them.
Baggage: Luggage storage offices only inside the VIP lounges.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night.
