Santarém airport

Location

The airport is located 15 km (9.5 miles) west of downtown Santarém.

The airport is located approximately 14-15 km from downtown Santarém, with a road travel time of about 20 to 25 minutes.

Taxis

Services are provided by Cooperativa dos Condutores de Táxi Especial do Aeroporto de Santarém (Cooperativa de Táxi) (Tel. +55 93 99199-9742). Vehicles operate 24 hours a day from the official rank right outside the arrivals exit.

Ridesharing

Uber operates rides to and from the airport. The pick-up spot is located outside the terminal exit.

Buses

There are no dedicated airport shuttle buses to the city center. Local public transit lines run along the adjacent Rodovia Fernando Guilhon, though frequencies are irregular.

Rental car desks are located in the public hall and adjacent terminal areas, with pick-up and return lots in designated areas of the front parking facility.

In the outer terminal area, you will find Localiza offices (Tel +55 93 991 227 000 - Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am, weekends from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am).

In the arrivals hall, Norte Motors operates a service desk (Tel +55 93 991 104 982), open 24 hours a day.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the passenger terminal.

Special assistance requests

In accordance with ANAC Resolution 280, passengers requiring special assistance (PNAE) must inform their airline at least 48 hours prior to flight departure.

Facilities include access ramps, adapted restrooms, priority signage, accessible telephones, and wheelchairs for boarding and deplaning assistance.

Escort services for minors traveling alone must be booked directly with the relevant airline, subject to its guidelines and charges.
