Split Airport, also known as Resnik Airport and opened on November 25, 1966, is one of the largest in Croatia. It operates with domestic flights and several important destinations in Europe.

The airport is located by the Adriatic Sea, 20 km (13 miles) to the west of the city of Split and 6 km (4 miles) away from Kastela.See Map
The airport has a bank (6:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm), currency exchange bureau (7:00 am to 0:00 am), ATMs and internet kiosk. In the International Departures area is found the Business Lounge; it opens from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and provides hot and cold beverages, newspapers, plugs for electric devices, computers, TV, free Wi-Fi (accessible for business class passengers from Aeroflot, AirBaltic, Air Serbia, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Croatia Airlines, Finnair, Iberia, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, S7 Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines).
Food and Drinks- There are coffee shops and a restaurant on the first floor.
Shopping- Duty-free stores on the first level, mini market, souvenir stands, newsagents and tobacconists on the ground floor.

Bus - Promet (Tel +385 2140 7888) operates lines 37 to Split and Trogir, 38 to Kastel Stari and Split, and 2 to Split and Kastel Sucurac. They leave with a frequency of 20 minutes from 4:00 am to 0:15 am and the trip to the city centre takes around 50 min.
On the other hand, Pleso Prijevoz (Tel +385 2120 3119) provides transportation to Split bus terminal, with departures 20 min. after flight arrivals. Travel time is 30 min.
Ferry - Adriatic Express (Tel +385 994 720 697 / 9870 2250) offers transfers 24 hours a day from the airport to Split Marina, Kastela Marina and the islands of Hvar and Brac. From the city itself you can access other Dalmatian islands.
