Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, opened on May, 1923, is one of the largest in China. It concentrates the city's domestic flights and only operates with some international destinations in Japan and South Korea.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 (international flights) and Terminal 2 (domestic flights). Open from 4:00 am to 10:00 pm. A free shuttle service connects both terminals every 30 minutes between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
