Spending the night at the airport
Santo Domingo Airport is a modern and convenient place to spend the night if you have an early morning flight or if your flight was cancelled. By staying inside the terminals, you can save money on lodging and transportation.
Where to rest: The most comfortable and quiet places are in the boarding area, so if you plan to spend the night inside the terminal, be sure to check in before the counters close so you can pass through security. In both terminals, you can also find VIP lounges if you want to enjoy more comfort. If the wait is 12 hours or more, you may want to look for a hotel nearby. See below for a map of nearby hotels.
Baggage: There is no luggage storage or lockers inside the terminals.
Eating and drinking: Air Bar and Rincón Caribeño, on the first level, are open 24 hours a day.
Shopping: Duty-free shops are available 24 hours a day, as are the pharmacy and convenience stores.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
