Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (PPT)

Possibility to spend the night at Tahiti Faa'a airport (PPT), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.

Spending the night at the airport

Tahiti Faa'a airport is open 24 hours a day, so if you have a flight early in the morning, you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure. Sometimes the air conditioning is very strong, so it is best to have some warm clothes.

Where to rest: Although options are limited, around the enclosure, you can find some long benches (made of metal) to lay down on. In addition, in the International Terminal, there is a VIP lounge with more amenities, but it closes at night. On the other hand, there is a hotel opposite the airport.

Baggage: Currently, there are no left luggage services inside the enclosure.

Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night. Have some snacks ready in advance.

Restrooms: Showers inside the VIP lounge, but not inside the public toilets.

Wi-Fi: Free for 30 minutes.
