The airport features an exclusive space designed to provide comfort and tranquillity to passengers before their international flights, offering panoramic views of the runway and the mountains of Tahiti.
Air Tahiti Nui Lounge
Located on the first floor, above the departure area of the International Terminal, this lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere with premium services. Opening hours are usually aligned with the departure of the airline’s international flights and its partners (generally from 6:30 pm until the last flight departs).
Services:
- Buffet with a variety of snacks, including hot and cold options.
- Bar with a selection of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, coffee and tea.
- Showers with toiletries.
- High-speed Wi-Fi, computer terminals and power outlets.
- Relaxation area with television, international newspapers and magazines.
- Outdoor smoking area with runway views.
Access:
- Passengers travelling in Poerava Business class on Air Tahiti Nui.
- Club Tiare Gold members of Air Tahiti Nui.
- Business class passengers and loyalty programme members of partner airlines, subject to current agreements.
- Economy class passengers may purchase an access pass at the check-in counter, subject to lounge availability.
Facilities and other services
Tahiti Faa'a Airport offers a range of functional services distributed across its terminals to ensure passengers’ comfort before departure or upon arrival on the island.
Financial Services
There are ATMs available 24 hours a day. The currency exchange counter (Tahiti Exchange) allows foreign currencies to be converted into CFP franc (XPF), operating on weekday mornings.
Internet and Telephony
Passengers have access to free Wi-Fi. In addition, in the public area there are mobile phone shops (Vodafone) where local SIM cards can be purchased to stay connected during your stay in the archipelago.
Food and Drink
The dining options include cafés, bars and fast food outlets located mainly in Domestic Terminal 1 and in the international departure area. These establishments offer everything from quick snacks and French pastries to more elaborate dishes and beverages.
Shopping
In the International Terminal there are Duty Free shops offering a selection of perfumes, cosmetics, spirits and tobacco. There are also newsstands, bookshops and souvenir shops selling local products such as the famous Tahitian pearls, fresh flowers and handicrafts.
Baggage
Luggage storage: The baggage storage service is located in the International Terminal and is available from 3 hours before international flights. In addition to allowing passengers to leave their belongings safely during long layovers, it offers a luggage wrapping service.
Lost luggage: In case of baggage issues, passengers should go directly to their airline’s desk in the arrivals area.
Other Services
- Post office: Available for postal services and stamp purchases.
- Business centre: Located in Domestic Terminal 1 for quick administrative tasks.
- Photo booth: Available in the public hall.
