Oslo Gardermoen Airport, opened on October 8, 1998, is the largest in the country and one of the busiest in Northern Europe. It operates domestic destinations and international flights to several locations in Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

The airport is located in Gardermoen, in the municipality of Ullensaker, 47 km (29 miles) northeast of Oslo.
