There are exemptions to the closure of the border for essential reasons, including business trips approved by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Fisheries. The certificate must include a QR code and the final dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to departure. Travelers can provide their EU digital certificate on paper or digitally as proof of vaccination, negative test result or prior recovery. Health documents provided in this way will not require additional verification on arrival. Upon departure, proof of a rapid antigen detection test or negative PCR, obtained within the previous 24 hours, must be presented. Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from the testing requirements and can provide proof of a positive antigen or PCR test, taken at least 14 days prior to departure and no more than 180 days upon arrival. Proof of recovery must include a QR code and must be issued in Europe, UK, or other select countries.
All passengers will be screened upon arrival. If there is no test station on arrival, travelers must perform a rapid antigen test at a public test station within 24 hours of arrival.
An online 'registration form' must be completed within 72 hours prior to departure. Confirmation received after registration is complete must be presented upon arrival.
