John F. Kennedy International Airport, opened on July 1, 1948, is one of the busiest in the country. Together with Newark and La Guardia airports, it serves the entire metropolitan area of New York and New Jersey. It operates with domestic and international flights to the entire globe.

The airport is situated in Jamaica Queens, to the southeast of New York, about 19 km (12 miles) away from Manhattan.

Parking services at New York JFK airport (JFK)

There are lots for short and long stays, linked to each other and to all terminals through the free AirTrain. Charging stations for electric vehicles are available. There are also two free of charge  pick-up (Cell Phone Lot) and drop-off zones (Kiss and Fly). The first one is located within a five-minute radius of all terminals and the drop-off area stands at the JFK Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain Station,

Disabled Parking*

There are designated parking spaces for use by customers with reduced mobility and are located in each short-term parking lot (very close to the terminal entrance) and in the long-term parking lot (near Howard Beach JFK and Lefferts Boulevard stations).

*Official disabled license plates or other official permits issued by a municipality or state of residence are required.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include ramps, adapted telephones and toilets, designated parking spots close to the entrance to the terminals, accessible drinking fountains, relief areas for service animals.
