Phuket airport (HKT)

Phuket International Airport, opened on 1 June 1939, is the second busiest in Thailand, and its growing traffic is largely due to international tourism to Phuket Island. It operates domestic flights and international destinations in Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and some European locations.

The airport is located 32 km (20 miles) north of Phuket city.

The car park offers short and long stay spaces and 15 minutes free of charge.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

There are lifts, adapted toilets and telephones, and reserved parking spaces. Unaccompanied minors between the ages of 8 and 11 will be escorted through the necessary procedures by airline personnel. Passengers requiring special assistance are advised to notify their airline of their needs in advance.
