Göteborg City Airport, also known as Säve Flygplats and opened in 1940, is one of the air terminals serving the city. Due to damage to the runway caused by heavy aircraft and the high cost of repairs, the airport is currently closed to airline traffic, but it is still open for light airplanes.

Bus - Flygbussarna (Tel +46 771 515 252) operates services to and from Nils Ericson terminal, in the city centre, and the train station. From here you can reach numerous destinations throughout Sweden. The trip takes around 25 minutes.
Line 36 from Västtrafik (Tel +46 771 414 300) stops at Kongahällavägen, 600 meters away from the terminal, and runs to the city centre in approximately 45 min. It also heads for Säve Station, Skra Bro, Bjurslättsliden, Swedenborgsplatsen and Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen.
Taxi - Vehicles from Taxi Göteborg (+46 31 650 000) and Taxi Kurir (+46 31 272 727) are available outside the terminal. Travel time to the city centre is 20-25 minutos.
