Bus

Line 36 from Vasttrafik (Tel +46 771 414 300) stops at Kongahallaví¤gen, 600 metres from the terminal, and travels to the city centre in approximately 45 min. It also runs to Save station, Skra Bro, Bjurslattsliden, Swedenborgsplatsen and Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen. It operates Monday to Friday between 5:58 am and 0:05 am and weekends from 5:53 am to 11:53 pm.

Taxi

Taxi Göteborg (+46 3165 0000), Taxi Kurir (+46 3127 2727) and Nisreens Taxi (Tel +46 3148 9284) vehicles are available outside the terminal. Travel time to the city centre is 20-25 minutes.

Tips for getting to and from GSE

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Gothenburg city airport is 9.3 km from Gothenburg. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
