Guadalajara Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport (IATA code: GDL), opened on May 17, 1966, is the primary air terminal in the state of Jalisco and the third busiest airport in Mexico, trailing only Mexico City and Cancún. Serving as a crucial hub for airlines such as Volaris and Viva Aerobus, it offers an extensive route network covering domestic destinations, alongside numerous international connections to the United States, Central America, and Europe.

Terminals

The airport operates through a single main passenger terminal (Terminal 1), which comprises boarding concourses A, B, and C for domestic and international flights. All three concourses are connected on foot via internal walkways. It also features separate facilities for General Aviation and private flights (FBO), as well as an air cargo terminal. Construction is currently underway on a second commercial terminal, scheduled for completion in 2029. The terminal operates 24 hours continuously.
