Washington National airport (DCA)

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, opened on June 16, 1941, is situated in Arlington County, in the state of Virginia. It is one of the busiest domestic air terminals in the country, and it also operates with some international destinations in Canada and the Caribbean.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals A and B/C, open 24 hours a day. A free shuttle service connects the terminals with each other and with the car parks, the car rental facilities and the Metro Station.
Annual passenger traffic: 23.9 million passengers went through it in 2017.

There are information desks between the baggage reclaim area and the security checkpoint of Terminal A (Tel +1 703 417 3972), and on the concourse and baggage levels of Terminal B/C (Tel +1 703 417 3974 / 1806 / 2664 / 2667). They operate from Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, Saturdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sundays from 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. There are also blue courtesy phones throughout the enclosure to request information.

Location

The airport is located next to the Potomac River and just 5 km (3.5 miles) south from downtown Washington D.C., in the neighboring satellite town of Arlington.

Terminal A Garage - Connected to Terminal A through a covered walkway.
Terminal B/C Garage - Two covered pathways give access to Terminal B/C.
Economy - Surface lot for long stays, further away from the terminals.

 

Facilities include elevators, Braille signage, public transportation systems equipped for the transfer of passengers with reduced mobility, relief areas for service animals, designated parking spaces, accessible restrooms and security checkpoints, adapted telephones.
