Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Guangzhou airport is very busy even at night, so if you decide to spend the night inside the enclosure, it is best that you have headphones or earplugs to cancel the noise.
Where to rest: On the restaurant level, below the Departures area, you can find comfortable seats with no armrests. On the other hand, there are numerous VIP lounges airside, but these close at night. Other than that, there is a hotel in the International Departures area and another one linked to the terminal through a walkway.
Baggage: A left luggage service is available, but it only operates until 10:00 pm.
Eating and drinking: Some of the options available on the first floor are open 24 hours a day.
Restrooms: There are showers only inside some of the VIP lounges, but not in the public restrooms.
Wi-Fi: Free for 300 minutes.
