Atlanta airport (ATL)

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, opened on September 15, 1926, is the busiest domestic airport in the United States and the busiest in the world, due to the fact that it is a transfer airport. Internationally, it operates different destinations in the Americas, as well as intercontinental flights.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Domestic Terminal with an atrium and 5 concourses (A, B, C, D, T) and Maynard Holbrook Jackson Jr. International Terminal (with concourses E and F), open 24 hours a day. Information desks in the public area of both terminals and at the Plane Train stations, available Monday through Friday between 8:15 am and 5:00 pm. Assistance staff are also available throughout the airport.

The airport is located 11 km (7 miles) south of the city of Atlanta.

Car rental agencies

The car rental center is open 24 hours a day and is connected to the terminals and parking lots by the automated SkyTrain. In addition, a shuttle bus provides a connection between the International Terminal and the car rental center every 15 minutes.

Parking services at Atlanta airport (ATL)

Parking is available for long and short stays, open 24 hours a day and with charging stations for electric vehicles. Convenient walking access to the various concourses and a shuttle service on the International Park Ride platform are available.

Entry system and availability

- Hourly Parking: The north and south hourly parking lots, which are closest to the entrance of each terminal, are ideal for picking up or dropping off passengers at the airport.
- Daily Parking (covered): 4-level overnight parking area located directly in front of each terminal.
- Economy Parking: These are adjacent to the parking platforms.
- ATL West Parking: Located at 4199 Skytrain Way, College Park, GA 30337.
- ATL Select: Located at 1800 Sullivan Rd, College Park, GA 30337. Covered, open-air and oversized vehicle spaces.
- International Park Ride: Spaces further away from the terminals, but with a free shuttle bus service that connects directly to the International Terminal.
- Cell Phone Lot: Free passenger waiting area outside the South Terminal.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include ramps, elevators, adapted telephones and toilets, relief areas for service animals and reserved parking spaces. Public transportation service operators provide assistance for passengers with reduced mobility. If you require wheelchairs, contact your airline before arrival.
