Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (ANC)

Possibility to spend the night at Anchorage airport (ANC), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.

Spending the night at the airport

Anchorage airport is open 24 hours a day, so you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure if you have a flight early in the morning or if your flight is delayed. However, it is a small place and facilities are limited.

Where to rest: Inside Concourse C there are several rows of seats without armrests. On the other hand, the quietest spots for resting are found next to gates C1 and C9 and in the check-in area. Inside the South Terminal, there are a couple of VIP lounges with more amenities and privacy, although they close at night. Some accommodations near the airport operate shuttle services.

Baggage: Luggage storage offices inside the South Terminal, from 5:00 am to 3:00 am.

Eating and drinking: Options open throughout the night only inside the South Terminal.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
