Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Warsaw Modlin Airport is open 24 hours a day, making it possible to spend the night in case of an early morning flight. It is a low cost terminal with no early morning flights so movement is usually scarce at night.
Where to rest: It is a fairly small terminal and does not have many amenities to rest. In fact there are no designated areas for rest. Anyway, you'll find many benches inside the terminal, some with armrests (in the departures area) and others without. At night the terminal is usually cold and it is recommended to have a blanket or even better a sleeping bag. There may be people outside the airport (street people) who spend the night also in the terminal. Therefore, it is recommended to have well at hand and when safeguarding luggage and valuables. In case of budget, you can choose to rest in some of the nearby hotels (detailed below)
Baggage: There is currently no babysitting service. For this reason, as mentioned above, you will need to take care of your belongings.
Eating and drinking: While there are a couple of dining options in both the public hall and the security area (boarding), they close in the evenings and only a few vending machines for snacks and drinks are available. However, just in case, make sure you have refreshment and some food.
Bathrooms: No showers available.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities, chapel.
