El Hierro airport

El Hierro Airport, opened on December 11, 1972, serves the island of the same name, situated in the Canary Islands. It operates with flights to and from Gran Canaria and Tenerife Norte.

Location

The airport is situated 3 km (2 miles) northeast from the city of Valverde, in the island of El Hierro.

There are car rental counters from CICAR (Tel +34 902 244 444 / 928 822 900 / 922 551 539 - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm) and Plus Car (Tel +34 928 827 055 / 922 550 076 - according to flight schedules) on the ground floor of the terminal.

The airport has free Wi-Fi access.

There is a multi-store in the public area with perfumes, cosmetics, sweets, jewellery, apparel, tobacco, liquor.

The parking lot has covered spaces, is free and situated a few meters away from the terminal building, which can be accessed in a couple of minutes.

Reserved parking spaces. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to arrange the proper services with their airline or travel agency at the moment of their reservation or at least 48 hours prior to their arrival.
