Layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Passengers having a flight early in the morning can spend the night inside Porto airport. The staff is generally tolerant of sleepers waiting for check-in time in the public areas. The terminal is small and therefore it is easy to move from one place to another. At night the place is usually cold, so it is recommended to have a sleeping bag or blankets, as well as earplugs for the noise that the cleaning crew makes.
Where to rest: You can find many benches and comfortable seats. Some of the coffee shops, after closing, have sofas and ideal seats for resting, and on the upper level there are private nooks where you can lay down. On the other hand, for more amenities, you can use the airport's VIP lounge, although it is only available from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. Or you can directly choose to spend the night in one of the nearby hotels, one of which is located right across from the enclosure.
Baggage: There are lockers in the Arrivals Hall and a left-luggage service on the third floor that operates from 4:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Eating and drinking: Eateries usually open at 5:00-6:00 am until midnight. Early in the morning there are only vending machines.
Restrooms: Free showers available close to the boarding gates.
Wi-Fi: The airport has free and unlimited access.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities, lost and found office, first aid clinic.
