Buses to Marseille City Centre
The shuttle bus service (Navette Marseille Aéroport) is the fastest and most direct way to reach Marseille Saint-Charles railway station, located in the city centre.
- Operator: La Métropole Mobilité (RTM) - Line A1.
- Frequency: Every 10 to 20 minutes.
- Schedule: From 4:05 am to 1:50 am.
- Journey time: Approximately 25 minutes.
- Fare: A single ticket costs €10.00. The bus stop is located between the terminals.
Buses to Other Cities
There are numerous intercity bus lines connecting the airport with popular destinations in the Provence region, such as Aix-en-Provence, Salon de Provence, and Sisteron.
- Aix-en-Provence: RTM Line A2. Stops on request at Pôle d'activités and Plan d'Aillane. Duration: 30 min. Fare: €10.00.
- Salon de Provence: Line 17, stopping at Vitrolles, Rognac, and Lançon-Provence. A direct service (Line 19) is also available.
- Sisteron - Gap: Lines 65, 66 and 69 operated by ZOU!. Stops at Manosque, Forcalquier, Digne-Les-Bains, and Tallard. Duration: 3 hours.
- Martigues: Line 38 towards Marignane, Gignac-la-Nerthe, Châteauneuf-les-Martigues, and La Mède. Duration: 1 hour.
- Long-distance: BlaBlaCar Bus and Flixbus services connect with cities such as Fréjus, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Nîmes, Montpellier, Béziers, Narbonne, Toulouse, Bordeaux, and Toulon.
- Ski resorts: Transfers to the main ski resorts in the Southern Alps operated by ZOU!. Every Saturday during the ski season.
Trains (TER)
The airport does not have its own railway station. To take a TER (Transport Express Régional) train, you need to travel to Vitrolles-Aéroport-Marseille-Provence (VAMP) station.
- Connection to the station: Line 13 takes you to VAMP station in about 5 minutes.
- Train operator: SNCF.
- Destinations: From VAMP, trains run to Marseille Saint-Charles (city centre), Arles, Nîmes, Montpellier, Béziers, Narbonne, Perpignan, Montélimar, Valence, and Toulon.
- Journey time to St-Charles: Approximately 15–20 minutes (once on the train).
- Fare: The shuttle bus transfer ticket costs €1.20.

Taxis
The taxi rank is located in front of Terminal 1, in the arrivals area, and vehicles are available 24 hours a day. The journey to Marseille city centre takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
- Daytime fare: Fixed price to Marseille city centre: €50.00 (from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm).
- Night-time/holiday fare: Fixed price to Marseille city centre: €60.00 (from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am, Sundays and public holidays).
