Spending the night at the airport

Managua airport is small and facilities are limited, but you can spend the night inside the enclosure if you have a flight early in the morning.

Where to rest: There are few benches inside the terminal, and these are generally uncomfortable, so it is best to have a sleeping bag or blankets and lay on the floor. By the boarding gates, there is a VIP lounge offering more amenities and privacy, but this closes at night. In the airport surroundings, as detailed further below, you will find different hotels for a longer rest.

Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices nor lockers inside the enclosure.

Eating and drinking: Eateries usually close around 9:00 pm.

Wi-Fi: Access is free.
