Buses

Public bus services link the terminal with key locations across the city:

  • Real Alagoas / SIMM: Route 1002 (Aeroporto / Ponta Verde) and routes 1001 and 1003 (Aeroporto / Rio Largo) provide service to downtown and beachfront neighborhoods.
  • Empresa Veleiro: Connects the airport with the Central Bus Station (Rodoviária de Maceió), operating from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.
  • Frequency and travel times: Buses run regularly every 20-30 minutes during the day. Average travel time to downtown or the hotel area ranges between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Taxis

The airport offers authorized taxi services with desks and designated ranks on the ground floor outside the arrivals hall:

  • Astril: Regular taxi service. Operating hours: 10:00 am to 2:30 am.
  • Contal: Special-category taxis (larger, more comfortable vehicles). Operating hours: 10:00 am to 2:30 am.
