Santorini airport (JTR)

Santorini International Airport, also known as Thira Airport and opened in 1972, serves the tourist area of the island of Santorini (part of the Cyclades Islands), in Greece. It operates domestic and international flights (mostly during the summer season) to some major destinations in Europe and the Middle East.

The airport is situated to the east of the island, near the town of Kamari, 8 km (5 miles) southeast of the city of Thira.
