Irkutsk International Airport (IKT), opened on 24 June 1925, is one of the most important transport hubs in Eastern Siberia. Due to its proximity to the Angara reservoir, the terminal is often affected by a microclimate of dense fog that occasionally impacts flight regularity. It operates an extensive network of domestic routes and international connections to various destinations in Central Asia, Southeast Asia, China, Turkey and Egypt.

Terminals

The airport has two passenger terminals located a short distance from each other, both operating 24 hours a day:

Domestic Terminal: Dedicated exclusively to flights within the Russian Federation.
International Terminal: Handles arrivals and departures of international flights.

Parking

The airport complex has monitored parking areas operating 24 hours a day, located a short distance from both terminal buildings. These areas are designed to accommodate both short stays and longer periods.

Short-Stay Parking

Located in front of the Domestic and International terminals, this section is mainly intended for passenger drop-off and pick-up. The system allows a grace period of 10 minutes free of charge, after which hourly rates apply.

Long-Stay Parking

For users who need to leave their vehicle for several days, the airport offers sections with preferential daily rates. These areas have permanent security and are located just a few metres from the main entrances.

Automatic payment terminals are strategically distributed near the exits of the car parks and inside the terminal buildings.
