About the airport

Imam Khomeini International Airport, opened on 8 May 2004, is Iran's most important airport and serves Tehran, the country's capital, concentrating most international flights. It operates destinations in the Middle and Far East, Asia, and major points in Europe.

P3, P4 - Outdoor areas for long stays in front of the control tower, linked to the main building by free shuttle buses.

Passengers requiring wheelchairs or special assistance must inform their airline before travelling. To the east of the main entrance, there is also a counter for assistance and enquiries.
