Number of Terminals – 2 – Terminal 1 (airlines from the Oneworld and SkyTeam alliances) and Terminal 2 (Star Alliance airlines), open 24 hours a day.
The terminals are connected via the baggage claim area and the Airport Plaza, where the central security checkpoint is located, along with a wide range of shops and dining options, as well as the train station.

The airport is located in Fuhlsbüttel, 8 km (5 miles) north of Hamburg city centre.

P1, P2, P4, P5 – Multi-storey car parks located in front of and adjacent to the terminals. Electric vehicle charging stations are available on level 0 of P4.
P8-9 – Located 1.5 km from the terminals, only accessible via online booking.
There are adapted toilets and reserved spaces in the car parks. Wheelchair service and transport for people with reduced mobility and the elderly to and from the airport are provided by Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (Tel +49 40 5075 1021). Passengers requiring special assistance must inform their airline of their needs in advance.
